Got creative with my peppers… couldn't let the freeze ruin them

This is a genius idea! Way to avoid waste and make something amazing. Send me a bottle, lol!

I bet everyone in your house was coughing and crying after that!

Honestly, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be!

Can watching a video give you heartburn?

What kinds of peppers did you use?

I’ve made chili salt before! Just mix fresh chilies with salt, dry it in the oven, and boom, chili salt. It lasts forever too.

Can you dehydrate in the oven, or do you need a special dehydrator?

@Keenan
Thanks! I’ll check that out.

I’ve heard of people using ovens, but I’ve never tried it myself.

Appreciate the tip!

I do this too… and guess what, instant Christmas gifts!

Right? It’s perfect for that.

I have way too many peppers but live in a townhouse… how do I make this without turning the whole place into a gas chamber?

None of the peppers I used were too spicy, I left out the reapers and ghost peppers.

At first glance, I thought you were gonna hand out those peppers to trick-or-treaters.

Haha, there’s still time!

They’re so colorful, I thought they were gummy worms!

This song brings back so many memories. I’m going to have it on repeat all day now, thanks!

How did you get from smoked peppers to dry powder? I thought they’d still be wet after smoking.

I used a dehydrator.

This looks amazing! I do something similar with yellow caribe peppers for steak seasoning. What do you use yours for?

Pretty much everything

Nice way to use those peppers! Mine usually just end up in the compost pile :joy:
