Heavenly Blue is such a great variety. I plant them every year because they don’t take over like other morning glories.

Oh really? That’s good to know, thanks for the tip!

I think it depends on where you are. Not invasive in one place, but a total pain somewhere else.

Totally agree. I’ve struggled to even get them to self-sow in some zones. My magenta ones self-sow now but they die with the first frost.
No frost where I am, so they just grow non-stop. Honestly, I hate them. They’re awful when they get tangled in chain link fences.
Gorgeous flowers! Don’t forget to save the seed pods. Toss some on a salad for a surprise and a weird night.

A true connoisseur, I see.

Haha, if I tried that, I’d lock myself indoors for sure!
@Aeron
It’s never too late. There’s always next year. And hey, ergine works during the day too… things might get strange before bedtime.
What a beautiful color! I only have pink ones right now, and they’re still tiny.
Lovely flowers, thanks for sharing.
Wow, those are gorgeous! Do you say good morning to yours? I have some near my door, and I always tell them ‘Morning, Glories!’ before I leave for work. It’s the little things that make life fun!
I’ve tried growing these from seed so many times and failed. They’re wild and invasive here, but they refuse to grow in my pots. What’s your trick?

Honestly, I just start them indoors in March and move them outside in May. I’m in zone 7a if that helps!
Those blooms are stunning!
Love the color! Do they have any fragrance?

Unfortunately, they don’t.

That’s such a letdown when beautiful flowers have no scent.
This picture is beautiful! The blue sky in the background makes the blooms even more striking.
I love that shade of blue, it’s so pretty!
