When I was a kid, our boundary wall was covered with morning glories. They were full of Golden Tortoise Beetles too!

Took it in November during the afternoon. This variety always seems to bloom just before freezing temps hit. I’m in zone 7a.
That blue is so nice.
These are so pretty! They remind me of butterfly pea flowers, which are an even deeper purple and can be used to extract color.

Those would be gone in minutes in my yard… the deer would have a feast.
I bought seeds for these last summer but chickened out on planting them. Thought they might help battle my neighbor’s bamboo or choke out the Virginia creeper I’m allergic to.
Morning glory vines are beautiful if you want to cover a wall. We have them all over my hometown.
