Some of mine have been around for years. Take cuttings in fall, then more in March, and plant out in May.
I’ll have to try that! Thanks!

Beautiful! I wonder if mine will survive in zone 10… just gonna leave them outside and see what happens.

Let me know how it goes! Always curious about no-freeze zones!

Wow, your garden is stunning!
Thank you! Finally found plants that work for my yard after lots of trial and error!
@Dezi
‘Chaos’ gardening is good too! I left the first picture area wild for the pollinators but kept it tidier up front. Totally randomly stuck coleus trimmings in big pots, and the colors matched perfectly!

@Fifer
You’ve inspired me! Definitely adding coleus next season!
Can’t wait to see your pics next season!

We’ve rooted cuttings in water and transferred to soil, under grow lights now. Can’t wait to have tons of coleus in spring!
I’m going to try that too!
Mine have been gone since October… too cold here.

I’m grateful mine lasted this long! Hoping to save a few.
I wish I had a garden like that… so beautiful!

Thank you! Coleus are really affordable and easy to grow. You should give them a try next spring!
Your garden looks so perfect, I love it!

Thank you! The plants seem to be thriving here.
I’ve kept coleus inside before… totally doable!

Trying to decide which to keep inside and which to try saving with frost protection.
