True. Even something simple like mopping can help. Just being active and productive makes a difference.

It’ll get better.
Spent a few hours in my garden planting bulbs. It’s nice to have something beautiful to look forward to.

That’s great.
Nature is really good for the soul.
Went to a nursery with my mom today. Ended up bringing home plants like lilies and irises that my grandparents had in their gardens. Feels nostalgic and peaceful.

That’s lovely.
Spent hours pulling weeds today. Liberated my poor grass!

Haha, I didn’t make this political, but I see your subtle undertones. Nice one.
My garden’s going to thrive!
Stepped outside today, felt the warmth, and thought, ‘At least climate change means I can still enjoy this?’ But honestly, it worries me—don’t even know if it’s safe to plant fall bulbs.

Yeah, the reminders of climate change can really overshadow the peace gardening brings. Hard to ignore when you see the effects right there in your own yard.
@Stevie
Exactly. It’s like the frog in the slowly heating pot—feels okay, but it’s not.
@Stevie
It’s gotten so warm here that tiger mosquitoes are thriving, and my garden was barely usable from late summer until October. Climate change is brutal.

Was thinking the same. It’s November, but 80 degrees here in Zone 7. Doesn’t make sense. Still felt good to be in the sun, though.

Martha’s not the best role model anyway
Repotted some aloe pups today. Felt good to care for something that’ll grow and keep giving back.
Did the same here. My sadness comes from the country’s choices.
