Leaving leaves supports insects over winter. Mowing could wipe them out.
Ever thought of getting rid of the grass instead?
Perfect for starting a compost bin. Good for the garden, waste not!
Depends. You could pile them up in one corner, but they’ll smother grass.
Careful, wet leaves can make a slippery mess.
Leaves are great homes for little bugs like fireflies.
Leaves are great for flower beds! For grass, I usually mow or rake them up.
We leave the leaves in garden beds but mow over the ones on the lawn.
Leaves on a slope get slippery when it rains. Maybe clear part of it.
I use leaves in my chicken run. They love shredding them, and it composts well.

With the nearby forest, I think we’re good on pollinators.
Leaves decompose well. My neighbor blows theirs into my yard…annoying!
Make a compost bin from those leaves! It’s practically gold.
Turn half into a leaf mold pile!
Pile them up where you’re planning to garden.
If it’s a lot, rake up some to compost or see if a local farmer will take them. Use the mower for the rest.
