Passion flower… fruit or just beauty?

Did you plant this because you’re passionate about passion fruit and wanted to capture the flower-to-fruit journey?

I love this plant! It made a beautiful shade over my rooftop and completely transformed the look of my garden.

Are the fruits edible?

Yes, they are edible and have a refreshing tangy-sweet flavor.

Some are edible, but not all varieties!

True, and not all passion flower plants produce fruit either.

And some produce fruit you definitely wouldn’t want to eat. I grow the ‘blue crown’ variety along my neighbor’s fence just for its looks.

These are such a delight! Thanks for sharing!

You’re welcome!

The fruit is my favorite, but the flowers look like something from another planet. Such a fascinating plant!

Everything about this plant is unique—the leaves, flowers, fruit, and even the fragrance. It’s like nature’s artwork.

This is gorgeous! Any tips for growing? Mine isn’t as lush and green.

I planted it in a container on my rooftop and trained it to make a shade. I water it every other day, and it seems to thrive.

What a stunning passion flower! The colors are amazing, and the fruit looks so vibrant. Is this from your garden? Have you tasted it?
