Made homemade dried herb blends for gifts… huge success!

This year I decided to make herb salts and dried herb blends from my garden as holiday gifts. They were a big hit with family and friends!

This was my first time gifting herb salts and dried herb blends, and people absolutely loved them!

@Zenith
I made a mix with several herbs but I’ll definitely try some smaller, single-herb batches next time. Rosemary is on the list—perfect for steak!

What a fantastic idea! I hope I remember to try this next year. Now I just need to figure out how to use the remindme bot!

@Skyler
It was so easy to make—I highly recommend it!

Such a great idea! I gave away catnip this year. Did anyone think your herb blends were something else, like cannabis?

Haha, I really hope not… especially not my mother-in-law! :joy:

One time my buddy convinced someone to smoke oregano that looked like this. Classic prank!

How disappointed was that one uncle when he realized it wasn’t weed?

Can I ask what you put in your blend?

I used one garlic clove, sea salt, thyme, rosemary, parsley, sage, and chives.

I’m growing all of those except parsley. Guess I’ll be planting some soon!

This is such a cool idea!
