I started growing an onion just because. My boyfriend put half an onion in water and said I should plant it when it sprouts. So, I did. Now I’ve got green shoots, and I feel like I’ve unlocked some secret life skill I should’ve known years ago. Anyone else growing random stuff?

One day I realized I was throwing out the white parts of green onions instead of growing more. Now I’ve got a windowsill full of green onions! I even give them as gifts to neighbors, and now most of the kitchens in my building have their own green onions lol.
