Yes I fertilize a lot at least once a week in the summer sometimes I use a bit extra if I have leftovers in my watering can from other plants. I just repotted it at the start of the season so that probably helped too Whoever told me that citrus trees need a lot of food I am so thankful to them
Honestly I have no idea what type of lemon it is the tag just said lemon tree haha
@Gale
I’m also in Zone 7 and I think you’ve done an amazing job Your hard work has really paid off It’s shockingly happy for our zone I think

Aw that’s so nice of you thank you I am surprised how well it did Everything else outside just barely survived our heatwaves and this one was thriving haha
@Gale
They look kind of big for lemons but some Meyers can be huge Does the tree have thorns Has anyone talked to you about grafting scars and cutting off any growth below the graft line It’s my citrus soap box point
@Gale
Something that helped mine is adding earthworms I put in a dozen each year and usually find one that escapes on the carpet The rest do fine as long as I give the soil a good soak each month I don’t know if that helps besides fertilizer and watering but I also add one worm to each pot indoors

7 lemon trees from seed that’s awesome I have two tiny ones that grew from seed too I found them growing in my compost pile last year and potted them
This one came from a nursery about 12 years ago and has produced tiny sad wrinkly green lemons almost every year but our summers were never long enough for the fruits to ripen until this year apparently

I think I can see it is the pretty white flower Sadly I have no idea what it is but there is a section for flowers in this forum and folks tend to help out so you could give it a shot there

Can I ask how you overwintered your seedlings I keep mine in an unheated greenhouse in zone 9 but they don’t seem happy probably because of the high humidity in the cold seasons
@Leif
I bring them into the house to a sunny bay window

I’m so surprised It’s not a young tree but it’s small in a tiny pot so I was not expecting this I feel very pleasantly surprised
