How's my garden looking? Any tips?

Take a moment, sit back, and just enjoy it. You’ve made something amazing.

Thanks, that means a lot!

Your garden is beautiful! Ever thought about adding fairy lights or maybe a cute little birdhouse?

Already have a birdbath! Fairy lights are definitely on my wishlist.

Your garden is stunning! What area are you in? It’s raining nonstop where I am. Have you planted any herbs like garlic yet?

Thanks! I’m in Cape Town, South Africa. The weather’s a bit unusual this year with some unexpected rain, but I’m not complaining! I’ve got marjoram, creeping thyme, lemongrass, and a few mints growing. Also tomatoes and peppers are doing well, and I’m looking forward to my foxgloves blooming for the first time.

Wow, it’s gorgeous!

Looks like perfection.

You should never move.

That’s the plan!

It’s absolutely beautiful.

Just keep doing what you’re doing—it’s working!

You should add more plants!

Planning to swap out some Nigella with celosia soon, then rotate them back in for winter.

Always thinking ahead with new ideas!

Are you sure you’re not supposed to be giving us all the tips?

  1. Sow seeds. 2. Keep the soil moist and watch obsessively. 3. Panic when nothing sprouts. 4. Buy more seeds and repeat. 5. End up with too many seedlings and hate thinning them. 6. Water constantly when it’s warm. 7. Keep going. 8. Enjoy the results.

@Ren
I’ve definitely been skipping the obsessive part, and step 7 is still a mystery for me. Thanks!

Growing from seeds is so rewarding but can be stressful! We even had moles causing trouble this year. Small ones, but still a hassle.
