Not to be confused with r/marijuanaenthusiasts
You will see and smell the flower. It looks exactly like what you’d take home from a dispensary, but not dry. Your plant will only flower if it’s female. You can probably find images and care plans for specific strain types online.
There are several subs dedicated to indoor and outdoor growing. You’ll get incredible support and advice. Good luck and hope you grow a fatty!
Looks like it’s just beginning to flower. If this is an autoflower, you will just have to wait. If this is a photoperiod, it will go into flower when it gets ~14 hours of light a day or less. Cannabis is an annual plant, meaning it grows, flowers, seeds, and then dies (usually). Photoperiods flower on short days because it tells the plant winter is coming and it should flower and seed soon to keep the genetics going. It’ll take approximately 8-9 weeks to finish flowering, depending on the strain.
We’re a cannabis nursery out of Virginia. Let us know if you have any other questions!
I’d say it’s in flower since about a week. In the picture, you can see small ‘hairs,’ so-called pistils, growing out of the ends of the branches where the buds will form.
We love tomatoes here! This one looks like it’s starting to flower; check the little poofy things at the ends of the stems.
You will see the calyx start to swell and white hairs start to pop, which is already happening.
Cannabis plants start to flower when their main taproot hits the bottom of the pot (hence why most commercial growers USE deep, narrow pots like 18" to 24" in depth). They do this to get more leaves to help produce more energy, etc., for flowering. You are getting flowers. Now you need to make sure they are female flowers, not male.
Looks like it’s starting to flower now. White pollen receptors will start shooting out and trichomes will start to form. If you’re in the northern hemisphere outside, it’ll be flowering now.
Hate to be that guy, but you’ll know when it’s started flowering when you’ll see buds and flowers…
Arrest this hippie!
Google image what they look like. The smell usually will tell
It’s allowed, but I will still block all marijuana posters so that I don’t come across your follow-up posts later and keep my gardening page as family-friendly as possible. It’s nothing personal or ill-willed.
