Any idea what these might be? I thought they were tulips, but after replanting, I’m starting to second-guess myself

I dug them up from incredibly overgrown beds on a property we bought this summer.

Probably daffodils… or maybe Jonquils.

Isn’t jonquil the French word for daffodil?

In gardening lingo, daffodils are large, featuring a single flower per stalk. Jonquils, on the other hand, are smaller and boast multiple blooms per stalk.

In that case i think Jonquil is a very confusing name, given that there already is a species named Narcissus jonquilla. N. tazetta for example also has multiple smaller blooms per stalk

Definitely look like daffodils to me

whatever they are, it’s gonna be pretty.

They don’t look like daffodil bulbs to me.
