What do you think of my garden harvest…

@Jai
This feels so relatable!

Are those little berries grapes?

I was wondering the same thing, or are they currants? Looks amazing. By the way, what zone are you growing in?

They are white currants!

@Crosby
I grow lots of currants, and seeing those made me so excited! My white imperials did amazing this year. Have you tried pink champagne currants? They’re really good too.

I’m adding white imperials to my garden this spring!

@Torrance
Keep an eye out for flies, though! They can be annoying if you let the berries sit too long. I get praying mantises in my garden, so they help control the pests.

Flies are a real issue where I live because of all the nearby farms. But honestly, I don’t mind—it’s worth it for life in the countryside!

@Torrance
If you can, try finding some praying mantis egg cases. They’ve been a lifesaver for me. I always make sure some of them survive to keep the garden healthy.

I do the same with ladybugs when aphids take over my milkweed plants!

@Torrance
You’ll probably get aphids on the currants too. It’s a never-ending battle!

That’s a good heads-up. What’s your go-to method for dealing with aphids?

They look like currants or gooseberries. If you’re in the US, green ones like these might be native. Check this out: 2013 BONAP North American Plant Atlas. TaxonMaps

They could be gooseberries.

Looks like something from the Ribes family.

How do you grow strawberries that look this good? Please share your tips!

Are you in the southern hemisphere? This looks like a dream harvest for us up north.

I don’t think so. The way the title ends with a bracket feels very Eastern European.
