I’ve got some strange-looking carrots growing in my garden! There’s a particular soil layer that makes them grow in odd shapes, and they’re definitely a conversation starter at home. By the way, does anyone know what might be eating into them from deep inside?
Please, no more pictures like that!

If one goes missing, I’d be pretty suspicious!

And definitely worried if it shows up again.

Maybe time to track down the root cause of this issue.

Honestly, that’s the scariest thing to worry about with carrots.

So, is this dirt or something else going on?
Could it be a thick layer of clay or some building debris beneath the surface?

Yeah, they expand as they hit the clay layer and leave the raised bed soil behind.

That’s interesting. I’d have thought clay would slow them down.
Are these carrots organic?

I don’t get why you got downvoted. This is actually a pretty solid question!
It’s important! Nothing non-organic is going into my body!
@Renny
They said nothing non-organic is going in their butt.
Just two words! Flared. Bases.
I just learned today that you can grow carrots shaped like dildos and anal plugs…
I just need one with a flared base!
Don’t forget the bonus roots at the tips!
Where can I get some of those? Asking for a friend…
