Update on my garden journey over 7 years

Here are some pictures from the gallery corner taken over the last 6 to 7 years.

The last photo was taken today and it’s part of another post that you all enjoyed.

Wow this looks great! I really enjoy a nice green space. What are winter temperatures like where you are? If I had all that green outside, it would freeze in winter.

In winter it’s about 18°C, and at night it can drop to around 8-10°C.

Summers can reach up to 42°C.

But the weather after the monsoon here in Pune is wonderful.

Nice winter temps but summer sounds intense

Yeah those two summer months can be really tough. Surprisingly, bougainvillea goes crazy with new leaves and flowers during that time.

These pictures are original content from my garden.

My dream!

After moving to an apartment from having my own homes and gardens, I really admire your hard work and results. Sadly, my apartment doesn’t allow outdoor gardens, so I’m trying to figure out indoor plants but it’s just not the same. Your garden is truly inspiring.

@Bliss
This garden is actually why I haven’t moved around much lately. But I’ve come to accept that

Thanks a lot

The night time photos are stunning!

This definitely looks like my happy place.

I love it! What kind of support structure do you have for your climbing plants?

The two plants at the bottom climb the wall with their roots. The wall paint has a lot of lime in it. The roots just keep climbing upwards.

The others I’m trying to train to climb too. When the leaves drop, there are older branches left behind that look dead, but I can train the new ones to climb instead.

How do you keep it so tidy? With all those plants, there usually would be a lot of dirt around.

We do a clean up of the walls and floors once a week. I can’t bring myself to cut the plants, so my wife helps me with that part.

Since the walls are lime painted, the roots climb up easily.

Dirt isn’t much of a problem. The black soil in most pots has pretty much been replaced by roots.

The tricky part is cutting the dry branches. It’s like a puzzle figuring out where to cut without harming the good parts.

Absolutely gorgeous!

What a beautiful space! Great job!

This is an amazing post!

What a delightful sight!

This is so lovely. Great work!
