Really excited about my second mustard greens harvest… anyone else growing them?

Just had my second mustard greens harvest, and it’s looking pretty good! Any tips on what to do with them next?

From the thumbnail, I thought this was some weird Halloween costume!

Same here, I thought it was some kind of artsy jacket you’d see on a sewing forum!

Wow, that’s impressive! :clap::clap::clap:

Not the one who posted, but you could wash them, dry, freeze, and then use them in green smoothies. That’s what I do!

You could make Sarson da Saag! It’s a Punjabi dish served with Makki Di Roti (corn bread), spiced pickles, raw onion, and yogurt. I always wanted to grow mustard greens just to make it since it’s hard to find at Indian restaurants near me.

@Scout
Yes! Saag is great with a mix of mustard and collard greens. Such a good combo!

Looks like it’s enough for one and a half people. Haha.

Those are some big leaves! Very nice!

Totally random, but you remind me of someone I met at band camp!

Looks like salad for everyone!

Add some lemon juice to cut down the sharp flavor, it works great!

Kinda reminds me of that story where Jesus fed 5000 people with just a little fish!

Mustard greens with smoked turkey necks are my favorite! But they do have me running to the bathroom!

Those leaves look so familiar… can’t put my finger on it though.

Yeah, same here. Saw something similar a few seconds ago.

Mustard greens are some of the easiest to grow. You can even make pesto, and it stays bright green!

Wait, HOW did you grow those so big?

Looks like someone’s reposted this from another post I’ve seen.

That’s a really nice harvest! Congrats!
