Just finished setting up my living wall! Super excited about how it turned out.
This is so cool! I’ve seen memes about these setups but yours looks awesome.

Thanks so much! Honestly, you should try it. It’s pretty cheap and easy to set up, but the upkeep can be a bit tricky. I’m lucky my balcony is humid and doesn’t get too much sun, so the soil stays moist longer.
Beautiful!

This looks stunning! How much work is it to take care of all those plants?
Thanks! It’s only been up for a week, so I’ve just watered it once so far. I use a sprayer with an extender, which makes it easier. We’ll see how it goes long term!
@Bailey
You should post an update in a year! Would love to see how it grows. It’s so beautiful right now.

Thank you! I’ll try. I’m a bit nervous about keeping it alive, but I’m determined!

Don’t stress too much! Just water based on what the plants need. Some will need more attention than others, so watch them individually.

Good advice! I’m doing the ‘finger in the soil’ test every few days until I get the hang of it. Thinking of adding some colorful caladiums later too!
Such a great addition to your space!

Thank you! I thought about doing it indoors, but I figured it’d be a lot more work. Might hang a few smaller ones near the TV though!
This is gorgeous! I’m usually more into outdoor gardening but this is making me want to try houseplants.

That’s so kind of you, thank you ! I’m a bit worried about overwatering or under-potting, but I’m learning as I go.
Love the variety of plants you’ve used!
This is amazing! I’d be worried about water damage though. How do you handle that?

Great question! I saw some people use tarps behind their walls or plastic lining in the pockets. I’m trying the plastic lining method to keep things dry.
@Bailey
That’s smart. Do you get a lot of sunlight on that wall? Looking forward to seeing updates!

Not much direct sunlight since it’s a north-facing wall, but it’s super humid here so it balances out. I’ll definitely share progress pics!
Wow, this is lush! How often do you have to water all of it?
