I live in Central California, between Stockton and Modesto, and my jade plant is absolutely thriving this winter! It’s covered in flowers, and the bees seem to love it.
Our jade plants are thriving too! They’re practically all white with blooms, and the bees are going crazy.

Same here—my plant is covered in bees!
Wow, it sounds gorgeous! I’m in the Bay Area, and I’ve noticed jade plants everywhere are blooming beautifully this year.
That’s a jade plant!? Unreal to me as a Canadian. Do the flowers smell like anything?

Not really, but they don’t smell bad either. Just kind of neutral. Jade plants were really popular in California a while back, so we have all these old, flowering ones around.
I’m in Modesto too! My jade blooms every year, and it’s about 6 feet tall now. We keep it outside year-round, rain or shine. I love sitting outside with coffee and watching hummingbirds visit the flowers.
@Bay
That sounds amazing! Mine’s in the ground too, but I have to cover it on cold nights. 6 feet is huge—mine’s about 3 feet tall and 4 feet across.
Nice!
Stunning! And the bees? Are there a lot of them?
Beautiful.
Have you looked closely at the flowers? They’re so intricate and gorgeous up close!
Same here!
I’m in SoCal, and mine are doing the same! They look incredible.
It fits the space perfectly.
I love how it attracts the bees. Nature at its best!
