The peachy lobey ones are definitely the coolest.

I’m thinking of focusing on growing one massive pumpkin for the fair next year.

That’s so cool! Which fair do you enter? I’m growing giant pumpkins too, but I started late this year. I’ve been cutting off flowers to focus on one big one per vine.

I’m moving soon, but I’ll be near the South Carolina state fairgrounds, so I’ll probably enter there.

Sugar pies are so cute! Containing them is tough though. Mine went wild in the field, climbing trees and spreading everywhere. Maybe try growing them up a trellis? Let me know how it goes!

Thank you! Yes, I’m already saving seeds for next year! You should definitely do it! An honor stand would be so cool, but here in San Diego, I don’t think it would last. Half the fun for me was chatting with everyone!

What varieties are you growing next year? I live in rural Scandinavia, so the honor stand works well here. People are trustworthy!
