Jacarandas in Mexico… is this the prettiest tree?

They’re amazing. We’ve got them in South Florida too. No matter how many times I see them, they always take my breath away.

I usually see the yellow ones here in central Florida, but I do spot a few purple ones now and then. They’re gorgeous, but not as vibrant as this picture!

Same here! I’ve seen red, yellow, purple, and pink varieties around. They’re all stunning.

I grew up in SoCal, and jacarandas were everywhere in my neighborhood. I miss the smell of the flowers so much!

I also grew up in SoCal but now live in the Pacific Northwest. I love it here, but I still miss jacarandas. Even the tulip trees here (Jane Magnolias) don’t compare.

They’re my favorite too, here in Australia.

My family there sends me new jacaranda photos every year. Such a treat!

This is absolutely stunning! Love the color.

I’d love to see one in bloom in person! Did you know some of the street views in Buenos Aires and Mexico City were taken when jacarandas were blooming? Magical!

They’re all over South Africa too!

Spring in San Diego wouldn’t be the same without the jacarandas! I even have a bonsai version sprouting.

This is probably my second favorite flowering tree.

What’s your first favorite, if you don’t mind me asking?

Dogwoods are my favorite, with magnolias coming in third.

:musical_note: A hurricane of jacarandas! :musical_note:

They’re so beautiful and fun :purple_heart:

Jacarandas are amazing! I moved here a year ago and was blown away by the flowering trees. The yellow Primavera trees are incredible too.

We have jacarandas here in Brisbane and Ipswich, Queensland, Australia! Ipswich even has a jacaranda festival every October during their bloom. They’ve always been my favorite tree.

Jacarandas are stunning, though they are super messy when the flowers drop.

Wow, we don’t have anything like that in Minnesota. Stunning! I’d love to see them someday.

This makes me miss living in California for the first time in years. Jacaranda trees were unforgettable.

They grow in northern New Zealand too! Such a spectacular sight!
