I’m singing “What Else Can I Do?” from Encanto while looking at these jacarandas! I’ve always wondered what they looked like in real life after watching the movie but kept forgetting to look it up. These flowers are absolutely stunning!

The flowers themselves don’t have a strong smell, but once they start falling after the initial bloom, they emit a kind of sweet decay scent. Where I’m from, it’s a sign that summer is nearly here, so it’s a very nostalgic smell.
