Yup. I lined my yard with them to keep people from walking their dogs in my yard. The dogs weren’t the issue; it was the giant poos that were left behind.
@Ren
It’s unfortunate how common this problem is. Dogs can be an issue too, since they leave their droppings everywhere. Plus, many owners don’t take responsibility anymore. I appreciate responsible pet owners who care.
I can’t grow cacti, but I’ve been trying with pruned wild rose branches along my hedge. I need another solution for the front garden because it looks too messy.
@Hartley
Have you considered using hedge-laying to create a living fence?
Beautiful! Just don’t throw a frisbee into that forest!
A piece of my cactus broke off the other day and stuck right into my arm. I try to give my cactus as little attention as possible since I always end up getting hurt.
I would love to see these bloom and bear fruits!
How do you keep them disease-free?
“Little” indeed!

Regardless, it’s beautiful! Great job!
Love this! What species do you have? Do the prickly pear-looking ones produce fruit?
Please take more photos when they bloom, especially close-ups!
Please bear more fruits!
I love the contrasting textures together.
What a beautiful fence! This will keep out a lot of trouble.
This is beautiful! Thanks for sharing and for all the care you put into growing it!
Awesome!!!
Really lovely.
That’s beautiful.
